     I am glad to hear from you. In your letter you said you were having trouble in learning English.
Indeed, English spoken in the US differs from that in UK for a variety of reasons. As we know, the
United States is a multicultural country, whose language has brought in many different words from
other languages. Many of the cultures and words have a deep effect on each other. As a matter of
fact, it doesn't make much difference whether you speak with an British or American accent. The only
purpose is always an effective and efficient communication, and an exact expression of ideas. In my
view, you need confidence to improve your spoken English, and you need to actively join in the
classroom discussions as well, just to improve through speaking.
