　　If ever there was a superwoman that woman is Helen Keller．

　　Helen Keller was born in June 1880 in Northwest Alabama, USA．She became blind and deaf from the age of 19 months as the result of a high fever．In 1887 Anne Sullivan came to work as her teacher．It wasn't long before Anne was teaching Helen to read and to write．In 1890 Helen learned to speak．

　　Helen entered Radcliffe College in 1900 and during the four years there she wrote her book called The Story of My Life, which was later translated into 50 languages．Later she wrote ten more books and a lot more articles!What great achievements!?

　　From 1946 and 1957, she went around the world, giving lectures in 39 countries!In 1968 Helen died at the age of 88．
