Dear Mr. Lin,

I have learned from newspaper that you are looking for a clerk who has some general experience in business and English. I would like to apply for that position. I am 23 years old and a graduate of a university in 2004. At the university, I studied many subjects such as English in major, business ( typing and writing in shorthand ) . I have no problem in writing and speaking English, for I have always been dealing with foreigners in English.

I believe that I shall become fit for the job very soon.

If you can offer me a few minutes, I would like to talk to you.
