Years of school life has taught me a lot of things, of which trust is the most valuable. It has helped me to become confident and even changed my life.
In fact, it was not until Mr. Liu became my English teacher that I realized its importance. At that time, I was very shy and I didn’t think anyone ever took notice of me. One day, we are asked to recite a text. Mr. Liu said that only after we recited it to him could we go home. My classmates left the classroom one by one. At last, I gathered courage to stand in front of him, but before I started, he said in a low but clear voice, “I trust you”. You can’t imagine how much his words meant to me.
Thanks to Mr. Liu, I am confident in both life and study now.
