Good afternoon, teachers and classmates,
     Welcome to this year's English speech competition. I'm very glad to stand here as an organizer of
this competition. For the sake of improving our spoken English and forming a good habit of reading,
we will organize this competition, which is held every year. And I hope that everyone who participates
in the competition can benefit a lot from it.
    Besides, there are some tips that participators should notice.For example, the time shouldn't be
beyond five minutes. Every one should speak smoothly and pronounce correctly and so on.
     At last, I sincerely hope that everyone can achieve a great success.
