          LeBron James was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers where he played his first seven seasons.
          In 2010, LeBron James became a free agent. This meant he could play for any team he wanted. Which team he would choose was big news. ESPN even had a whole show called The Decision where James told the world that he was going to play for the Miami Heat next season. He had played for the Heat until 2014.
          LeBron James holds a number of NBA records and has received a number of awards. Here are just a few of them. He was the NBA Finals MVP and Champion in 2012. He won two Olympic gold medals in 2008 and 2012.
